PARANORMAL 4TH JULY HOLIDAY BASH - Shelley Munroe & Gina Ardito

Assassin by Shelley Munro
GIVEAWAY: Shelley is giving away an ebook copy from her backlist. For a chance to win please leave a comment at the end of this post with your email addy. Winners will be selected sometime next week.

Feline shifter Leo Mitchell is the pretty brother who attracts women with ease, but he’s turned picky. He suspects the mystery blonde hanging around Middlemarch is the one for him. If only he could grab the elusive female and seduce her. Oh yeah. He craves some hot, sinful lovin’ with the lady in black leather.

Assassin Isabella Black has harbored a huge crush on hunky Leo for ages. Because the timing sucked she’s watched him from afar, praying another woman won’t snatch the hottie away before she’s free to stake a claim.

Finally the pair meet. Isabella offers her naked body but Leo counteracts with a cup of tea. Seems Leo likes to call the shots when it comes to sex. A day later they’re finally dancing horizontally. It’s smokin’ hot, steamy, delicious—everything she’s ever wanted. Isabella is ecstatic until another assassin threatens to ruin her happiness. It’s life or death now. One wrong move and her secrets will destroy the Mitchells along with everything that has become dear to her…including Leo.

Character Interview

Leo Mitchell, thanks for visiting the Passion Sense blog. We have a couple of questions we’d like you to share with readers:

1. If you celebrate the 4th of July holiday, what’s your favorite or worse memory?
I’m from New Zealand and live in the town of Middlemarch in the South Island. No 4th of July for us. July is the middle of winter in New Zealand. Since Emily married Saber, my oldest brother, we’ve started to have a mid-year Christmas dinner. We have a traditional Christmas dinner since it’s cold and the days are short and all of our family and friends attend. Although my brothers and I complain because Emily makes us help her, we actually enjoy the meal and have lots of fun.

2. Tell us about your most current adventure.
No adventure. Not really, although I’m feeling unsettled. Both Saber and Felix have mates now, and I keep seeing a mystery woman on a motor bike—a hot woman in leather. She’s eluded me so far, but I’ll catch her soon and then we’ll see…

3. What is your favorite thing to do? Or, do you have a super power?
I’m a feline shifter—black leopard—and my favorite thing is to shift to feline and go for a run with my brothers and friends. Nothing beats the enhanced senses and the breeze ruffling my fur…ah…*Leo stops and checks over his shoulder for his sister-in-law*…Sex is pretty damn special too.

4. What is your favorite barbeque food?
You can’t beat steak. We used to eat meat for every meal, but since Emily moved into the house, she makes us eat vegetables too.

Blurb:

Every girl sees her thirtieth birthday as a milestone, but in Adara Berros's case, her entire life has turned upside-down. She may not know it, but Adara is actually the reincarnation of Greek mythology's Adonis. And she's about to be drawn into a centuries-old game between the gods and goddesses of Mount Olympus, with her eternal love as the grand prize.

Detective Shane Griffin senses trouble when he investigates an accident involving Adara and a mysterious stranger named Ted. Having lost his sister to domestic abuse, Shane suspects Ted is not the charming guy he appears to be. After he discovers Adara is the key witness for a murder trial, Shane vows to put his life and career on the line to protect her.

When Adara's life is threatened, she and Shane go on the run. Now, mortals and immortals alike are all...

Character Interview with Aphrodite, Greek goddess of love and beauty:

Aphrodite, Greek goddess of love and beauty, thanks for visiting the Passion Sense blog. We have a couple questions we’d like you to share with readers:

1.     If you celebrate the 4th of July holiday, what’s your favorite or worse memory?

I’ve always envied you Americans your holidays. Many of them are so hedonistic, a quality I love. The 4th of July has all those fireworks: magic in the sky! How delightful. How...godlike...of you. It’s not a Greek holiday so I’ve never celebrated, but I love looking down upon the fireworks from my realm. They literally make my sandals glow!

 2.     Tell us about your most current adventure.

As you know, I’ve been in love with Adonis for millennia. Now I finally have the opportunity to win my dearest’s heart for eternity. Of course, the fact that my jealous counterpart, Persephone, neglected to tell me Adonis would be reborn a female this time around—a female named Adara—came as a surprise. But after centuries of watching how you mortals comport yourselves, I firmly believe I can pull off the role of a modern male with flair.

3.     What is your most favorite thing to do? Or, do you have a super power? (for non-human characters)

I am the goddess of love and beauty! I love being adored, of course. This time, however, I must do the adoring. Normally, nothing is beyond my power, but the rules Persephone insisted I agree to for winning Adara’s love include my inability to use any magic in this pursuit. I can’t even have my son, Eros, shoot an arrow! Persephone hopes to hinder me so she can keep my beloved for herself. But true love knows no time, no boundaries.

 4.     What is your favorite barbecue food?

You have that wonderful salad with fruit and marshmallows, ambrosia. Our ambrosia in Olympus is very different, yet just as decadently delicious.

...Chasing Adonis.
