I remember years ago, Ray Bradbury had a TV show and it opened with him in his attic writing room. An old typewriter was in the middle of a huge cluttered desk, surrounding him were stacks of books and unusual objects, things that would spark ideas. He’s one of my favorite authors and he always inspired me—his writing and that image of how writers write.
I’ll be sharing photos of Ellora’s Cave authors and editors and their Writers Cave over the next several weeks and talking a little about each author.

Nice Girl Naughty by Jan Springer at Ellora's Cave
Blind since nineteen, Summer has blossomed into a famous wood carver, her talented hands giving life to erotic art. When her own life is nearly taken by a serial killer, she finds herself suddenly whisked to a secluded wilderness cabin by sexy bodyguard Nick.
Summer can’t get enough of touching Nick’s thick, powerful muscles and all those other hard, yummy male body parts. It doesn’t take long before the cabin’s every surface—horizontal or vertical—is marked by their scorching lovemaking.
For years Nick has stayed away from nice girl Summer. Now he’s back, and sweeping his gorgeous redhead into the naughty, erotic sex-fest they’ve been craving for years. With passion blinding him, Nick doesn’t realize their hideout isn’t safe—until it’s too late.

I need a writing space near a window. :)
Amber, I need a window to.
NJ, yeah, I like Jan's cave too. Very open and comfortable.
What a beautiful space. I love all those bright walls!
Thanks for posting my writing cave, Kathy. :-)
Glad you like my space, ladies.
Hugs,
jan
Very nice place to write in, Jan! I love all the open area you have to move freely in.
I love your writing space, Jan! Looks so full of sunshine. Very inspiring.
You're welcome Jan. I love your writers cave. It looks very relaxing.
Hi Talina, I like open space too.
Hey Nancy, I like windows and a lot of light. I redid my dining room last year. Ripped down old drapes, tore up dark carpet, repainted, stripped wainscoating. (all original owner). It's much brighter now.
Love Jan's space. It's beautiful. I actually took over my son's old room many years ago when he headed off for college. I was distraught when he left and still have little bits and pieces of his stuff there mixed in with stuff I've added over the years. Have a big window, a sleigh bed, a ginormous tv/entertainment center and a very messy desk.
Sounds wonderful Regina. You should send a pic. so I can post it with the other writers caves. :)
